Keel Cottage and Grange Cottage are situated at Grange Farm, one mile from the village of Buckden and a five minute walk from the hamlet of Hubberholme in Upper Wharfedale, Yorkshire Dales
The farmhouse was formerly the vicarage for the 13th Century Church nearby. The author and dramatist, J B Priestley wished to be buried at Hubberholme and a plaque in the church in his memory states "he found Hubberholme one of the smallest and most pleasant places in the world".
The farm cottages have been recently converted by the Falshaw family from a barn situated near the farmhouse, which dates back before the house was built in 1858. The cottages are in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in ideal walking country. It has a large patio area where guests may enjoy the peaceful countryside on this working sheep and suckler cattle farm.
Both cottages sleep 4. Keel cottage has a ground floor toliet , in addition to the upstairs bathroom. Grange Cottage has a downstairs shower and toilet. The cottages have central heating and are full of character with beams throughout and offer comfortable accommodation. There is an additional coal-effect electric fire in the sitting room. There are superb views of the surrounding countryside. The cottages can be rented separately or together for larger groups.

Electricity is included in the rent and there is parking for two cars. Both cottages are non-smoking. Grange Cottage is no pets, Keel Cottage we allow one small pet.
Buckden shops and restaurants are one mile away, The George Inn is a 5 minute walk and the White Lion Inn at Cray is 5 minutes by car for excellent food at lunchtime and in the evenings. Home baking and more excellent food can be found at West Winds Tearooms in Buckden.
This is an excellent location for exploring the Dales and to enjoy a great holiday at any time of the year
